Stats on a phone: total hours, films watched and average rating

After a few months of logging films you have a record of your taste, and it says more than a list. Which director do you keep coming back to? Do you rate harder than everyone else?

Filmtally turns your watched history into charts and insight cards, and once a year into a Wrapped you can share. The same ratings that build your stats also sharpen your recommendations.

  1. The numbers

Total hours, films watched, average rating and how much of your watchlist you have finished, for this month, this year or all time.

  2. Charts of your habits

Stats charts on a phone: your genre distribution
  3. Insights about your taste

Your top director and actor, a hidden gem you rated far above its reputation, favourite decade, longest streak, your taste in one line, and how your ratings compare with the Filmtally community.

  4. Your year in film

Wrapped turns a year into a short story: films, hours, top genre, most-watched director, favourite era and your vibe, with a link to share.

Questions before you start

Are my stats public?

No. Your stats page is private. Wrapped has its own link: you and your friends can always see it, and anyone else can if your watched list is public.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the films you mark as watched and rate. Runtimes and genres come from TMDB.

When do insight cards appear?

Some need a little history first, such as three films by the same director or five rated films for a hidden gem. They fill in as you log more.

Is Filmtally free?

Yes. Sign in with Google, no credit card.
